Tilos is located at the north west of Rhodes Island, surrounded by high mountains steep coasts, beaches with transparent waters and caves. It has to offer medieval castles, many small graphical churches and a village that is declared cultural monument. You may visit the cave full of pale ontological discoveries like the famous dwarf elephant fossil bones. At the centre of Megalo Choria the adjoining square delights the senses with fragrance and colour and its view over the valley and Eristos Bay to the south. The village of Livadia quietly hugs the shore next to the port at the foot of the mountains that shelter Livadia Bay. The long beach in Livadia and the crystal water entice visitors. |
